El presidente de la República, Luis Abinader, aseguró que lograron consensuar el proyecto sobre incentivos al desarrollo fronterizo que mantenía enfrentados a diputados y senadores del país.
El mandatario hizo el anuncio al postear una fotografía con legisladores y funcionarios en Palacio Nacional.
El mandatario adelantó que el proyecto consensuado sería sometido el miércoles al conocimiento de la Cámara de Diputados.
“Esta tarde en conversación con senadores y diputados se logró el consenso del proyecto sobre incentivos al desarrollo fronterizo (Antigua Ley 28-01) que será presentado el miércoles en la Cámara de Diputados. ¡Con respeto y sentido democrático se puede avanzar!”, escribió el jefe del Estado.
Los incentivos fronterizos contenidos en la antigua ley 28-01, que expiró esta semana, mantenía enfrentados a Alfredo Pacheco, presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, y a Faride Raful, vocera del Partido Revolucionario Moderno en el Senado de la República.
En la foto figuran, además del presidente y los anteriores legisladores mencionados, el presidente del Senado, Eduardo Estrella; el ministro de Economía, Miguel Ceara Hatton; Jochi Vicente, de Hacienda; director de Impuestos Internos, Luis Valdez y Dionis Sánchez, vocero de Fuerza del Pueblo en el Senado y José Bertico Santana, presidente de la comisión de Hacienda de la Cámara de Diputados.
El pasado primero de febrero, el presidente Luis Abinader declaró a través de Twitter que las exenciones e incentivos fiscales de las empresas que se acogieron al régimen de la Ley 28-01 se mantendrán vigentes, junto a las facilidades que ofrece, hasta agotar el periodo de veinte años de su clasificación.
Esta tarde en conversación con senadores y diputados se logró el consenso del proyecto sobre incentivos al desarrollo fronterizo (Antigua Ley 28-01) que será presentado el miércoles en la Cámara de Diputados.
