La entrevista que le realizó el influencer Santiago Matías “Alofoke” al candidato presidencial por el Partido de Liberación Dominicana (PLD), Gonzalo Castillo, fue tendencia en redes sociales provocando diversas opiniones entre los internautas.
Una de ellas fue la del veterano periodista Juan Taveras Hernández, quien dijo sentirse ofendido en su condición de profesional por la “insípida entrevista”.
“Me sentí ofendido en mi condición de periodista profesional por más de 40 años cuando vi insípida entrevista de Gonzalo Castillo con Alofoke. La política y el periodismo no pueden degradarse tanto”, fue el tuit que escribió Taveras en la red social, que de inmediato desató cientos de comentarios a favor y en contra del profesional de la comunicación.
De acuerdo al periodista, la entrevista, que ya lleva más de medio millón de reproducciones en YouTube, tuvo las “preguntas elaboradas previamente; respuestas ensayadas y leídas. Una farsa. No fue una entrevista, fue un engaño. Los estrategas de Gonzalo -pobre tonto- no pegan una”.
A raíz de todos los comentarios que se desataron por su postura, “TH”, como también es conocido el periodista, aclaró: “no sé, ni me importa, quien es Santiago Matías. No sé qué hace ni a qué se dedica, no sé dónde estudio, si es que estudio, ni donde vive. Si tiene o no tiene familia. No tengo nada en su contra. Nunca lo he visto. No me ha hecho nada ni yo a él. Para mí es como si no existiera”.
La opinión de Taveras y otros usuarios causó revuelo en las redes sociales, por lo que Alofoke respondió en su programa de radio diciendo: “Al parecer en República Dominicana el muchacho de barrio, el muchacho que tiene una visión que busca cada día mejorar, está prohibido progresar”.
Y de manera directa le dio mención a Taveras Hernández con el siguiente mensaje: “Mandeme a matar JuanTh cuando sean gobierno. El 17 de agosto”. Junto con ese mensaje compartió un vídeo en el que dice lo siguiente: “Te soy sincero, de la única manera en la que nosotros no controlemos completo el área de la comunicación es asesinándonos. Así que compren las armas de fuego que nuestros cuerpos estarán disponibles para que nos maten”.
También dijo que “muchos de esos periodistas criticaron el día de hoy la alocución con Gonzalo es porque obedecen a un interés colectivo, que es destruir. No le importan a qué precio”, aunque destacó que hay algunos a quienes admira y respeta como a Nuria Piera, Alicia Ortega y Roberto Cavada.
“La entrevista que ha importado ha sido la de Gonzalo castillo. Estamos viviendo en una RD que destruye, que busca errores donde no hay, que busca descalificar al que no está contigo y me da pena esa RD. Me da pena que los dominicanos no tenemos la educación ni la costumbre de evaluar propuestas”, dijo Matías en su programa de radio, que luego fue colocado en su cuenta en Twitter.
