Reyes agregó: «Así como se ve, cansado, con ojeras por la falta de sueño, días largos donde las noches eran el espacio de trabajo. Infatigable, inquebrantable y sin miedo a los retos, no se deja amedrentar»
Martínez en Santiago de los Caballeros, tomó la delantera en la reelección con un 49,27 por ciento.
La comunicadora también aprovechó la noticia para agradecer a quienes les han apoyado diciendo: «Gracias a ustedes por la entrega y el esfuerzo. Abel Arturo, Laia Victoria y yo te amamos, te aplaudimos y siempre estaremos para ti bajo cualquier circunstancia. Felicidades amor mío. ¡Ganamos! Aunque, más importante aún; ¡Ganó Santiago!»
